Section 1 - Introduction 

These Terms and Conditions (Terms) form part of every contract made between Asteri the Label (ABN 73 402 402 931) (Asteri, we, us and our) and any other person, company or other legal entity (You) for the supply of goods and any services by Asteri. 

These Terms prevail over any written terms and conditions. Any variation to these Terms will not be effective unless agreed in writing by the owner of Asteri. All contracts between Asteri and You will be governed by Australian law, and the parties agree to submit the complete jurisdiction of the relevant Australian State or Federal Courts. Any provision in these Terms which is or becomes unenforceable in any jurisdiction will be ineffective without invalidating any other provision of these Terms and such unenforceability will not invalidate that provision in any other jurisdiction.


Section 2 - Products & Availability

All Asteri pieces are handmade in small quantities and on a pre-order basis. 

Due to the handmade nature of our products, any depictions of any products on our website or any of our social media pages are mere representations of the products and any products purchased may have slight variations in design, texture, colour, or finish. These variations are not considered faults and contribute to the individuality of each piece. We have made every effort to ensure that all depictions are as accurate as possible to the true colours and images of our products. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display of any colour will be accurate. 

Product availability is limited and items may sell out or be withdrawn at any time without notice. When you have placed an order for an item that is no longer available, or becomes unavailable once the order is placed, Asteri will refund you for the total sum of your order.


Section 3 - Pre-Orders & Ordering

Unless stated otherwise, all products available for purchase on our website are sold on a pre-order basis.

Before committing to purchasing a pre-order item please be aware that the estimated lead time is four to five weeks from the date of purchase. This time-frame does not include delivery. Delivery is arranged through and managed by our third-party delivery partners. Asteri will not be liable for any delays resulting from circumstances beyond our control or for any losses that are incurred by You as a result of any delays. By placing a pre-order, You acknowledge and accept the estimated production and dispatch timeframe.

After payment for an order is received, You will receive an email confirming your order. A further email will be sent when the order is ready for dispatch.  

Unless Asteri is given prior written notice by You, the person placing or signing the order on behalf You will be deemed to be authorised to do so. Asteri reserves the right to refuse to accept any order. Asteri will not act on any order if there is any ambiguity or uncertainty over the instructions or the validity of that order and reserves the right to refuse service. 


Section 4 - Pricing & Payments

Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. 

All payments are made in full at the time of purchase and are processed via a trusted third-party payment provider, for which Asteri does not store or have complete access to your payment details. 


Section 5 - Shipping & Delivery

All orders are shipped via Australia Post for domestic orders and with DHL for international orders (Delivery Carrier).  

Shipping charges are in addition to any product costs and are determined by the Delivery Carrier. Shipping charges are added at Checkout. 

Arrival times are the responsibility of the Delivery Carrier. For domestic orders, it is generally accepted that standard shipping will arrive within 3-8 business days and express shipping will arrive within 1-3 business days, depending on the delivery address. 

Please ensure that your shipping address is correct and secure at the time of purchase. Asteri is not responsible for delays, loss, or theft once an order has been marked as delivered by the Delivery Carrier. 


Section 6 - Taxes

For customers outside of Australia, your order may be subject to international duties and taxes when the parcel arrives at the destination country. These taxes and duties are required to be paid by You upon delivery. Please note that the shipping carrier may not release the parcel without prior payment for these fees.

Asteri cannot be held responsible for any actions, costs, or delays caused due to these customs processes over which we have no control. Nor can we be held responsible for delays caused by the delivery service provider. We recommend contacting your local customs office for more information about possible duties and taxes.

Should You refuse a shipment due to unexpected import costs, any return shipping fees or abandonment costs incurred will be deducted from your refund. For any enquiries as to importing duties please contact Asteri directly before placing an order to confirm these duties and their pricing.


Section 6 - Returns & Exchanges

Due to the handmade and made-to-order nature of our products, all sales are final, and we do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind.


Section 7 - Warranty/Repairs

Asteri offers a 12-month complimentary warranty & repairs on all products. 

All Asteri pieces undergo thorough quality checks during production and before shipment by our dispatch team.

Our warranty covers manufacturing faults and defects such as:

  1. Structural issues, such as loose hardware, unstable components, or seams that come apart.

  2. Faulty craftsmanship or assembly errors

  3. Material imperfections, such as cracking or splitting in handcrafted wood elements.

Our warranty does not cover:

  1. Discolouration or tarnishing

  2. Pieces that have been damaged due to ‘wear and tear’ through misuse or accident,

  3. Lost items

  4. Improper storage of your product 

  5. If a piece has been repaired or modified by a third party.

If you believe your piece may be covered by warranty, please submit a claim to contact@asterithelabel.com with information including your order number, purchase date and details of your warranty claim. 

Asteri will review and assess any warranty claims and ultimately determine if the item is covered by warranty. If the item is covered, Asteri will provide a repair at no cost to You. You are responsible for any shipping costs associated with repairs. 

Nothing in this section excludes or limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Section 8 - Intellectual Property

All content on Asteri’s website, including but not limited to designs, product concepts, images, photographs, logos, graphics, and text, is the intellectual property of Asteri the Label and must not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written consent. 

All content appearing on this website including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, software, and product designs is the exclusive property of Asteri or its content suppliers of which Asteri has obtained legal license with the express permission to use from its rightful owner. 

You shall not extract, utilise, reproduce, or redistribute any part of our website or brand assets for commercial purposes without our prior express written consent.

Section 9 - Indemnification

By using our website and purchasing our products, You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Asteri, its directors, officers, employees, consultants, agents, and affiliates, from any and all third-party claims, liability, damages, and/or costs (including, but not limited to, legal fees). If any part of these Terms is found to be illegal, void, or unenforceable by a court, that specific part will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary. The rest of these Terms will remain in full force and effect to protect both You and Asteri. We acknowledge that our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, including that goods must be of a serviceable and acceptable quality, and fit for purpose.

Section 10 - Third Party Affiliation

Our website may contain links to websites owned and operated by third parties, these links are provided for your convenience only. Asteri has no control over the content, privacy policies, or practices of these sites. We do not endorse or guarantee the accuracy of any third-party information. By clicking these links, You acknowledge that you do so at your own risk and that we are not liable for any loss or damage caused by your use of a third party site. Complaints, claims, concerns, or questions regarding third-party products should be directed to the third-party. 


Section 11 - Changes to These Terms

Asteri reserves the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms by posting updates and changes to our website. You are responsible for checking our website periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to our website or any of our services following the posting of any changes to these terms of service constitutes acceptance of those changes.
